From March 13 to April 30, 2020, the authorities have ordered all performances of the Hamburg State Opera at all venues to be cancelled due to the coronavirus. This also concerns concerts of the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra at the Elbphilharmonie.
Tickets for cancelled performances will automatically be invalidated. However, we do ask for your patience, as the refunding of all ticket purchases will presumably take several weeks.
For individual tickets bought directly at our ticket office, via phone sales or via the State Opera’s or the Philharmonic State Orchestra’s online shops, ticket buyers will automatically receive the price of the ticket(s) as a refund if we have their payment information (e.g. account information). It is not necessary to send us your tickets. We will shortly inform you on this website about refunds in cases where we do not have this information. We ask for your understanding that it is not possible to pay out refunds in cash at our ticket office.
Subscription tickets (including tickets for elective subscriptions and tickets that have been swapped) will automatically be eligible for swapping. You will be able to use your swapping credit for a longer period of time than usual, i.e. for performances through November 30, 2020.
The A and B premieres of the new production "Elektra" will be postponed to May 2 resp. 5, 2020. Subscription tickets for the series “Premiere A” and “Premiere B” will automatically be exchanged for the relevant performance in May. Subscribers will receive the corresponding substitute tickets.
To return tickets which were purchased via external sales points, such as theatre shops, the online shops of CTS Eventim, visitor organizations or travel agencies, please contact the seller in question directly.
The premiere of "Märchen im Grand-Hotel" has been brought forward to May 1, 2020. Tickets already purchased for the original premiere date (May 2, 2020) remain valid. If ticket holders are unable to attend the new date, they can change to another performance or return their tickets. Please send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org

Due to the current situation the box office is currently closed. Ticket sales for performances from May 1, 2020 are also possible online at any time. Subscription requests for the 2020/21 season can also be submitted online using the order form.
