The Polish countertenor Jakub Jósef Orliński studied at the Juilliard School with Edith Wiens and the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with Anna Radiejewska, as well as the Young Artists Program of the Opera Academy of Teatr Wielki-Opera Noradowal, also in Warsaw. While still a student, he made his debut at the Handel Festival in Karlsruhe. He is also active in the concert field with a focus on the Baroque. Together with pianist Michał Biel, a friend of the singer since his student days, Jakub Jósef Orliński takes the audience on an interesting journey of discovery of rarely performed songs and arias.
