World Premiere of "Katze Ivanka"

A red tabby with amber eyes, musical talent and a great sense of mischief – Ivanka the Cat is the secret star of the opera house, and anything but an ordinary feline. Hunting mice, roaming the streets or dozing in the sunshine is not her thing. Her place is on stage! Willy Decker's "Pique Dame" is back!

Kammersängerin Renate Behle will make her role debut as "Gräfin" alongside Torsten Kerl, who will be performing "Herman" for the first time in Tschaikowsky's opera. Barbara Haveman will be back at Dammtorstraße as "Lisa". Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra will be playing under the conductor Gregor Bühl.


“Die Zauberflöte” on ARTE concert

After around 5.000 people were part of the season's opening at Jungfernstieg in Hamburg, the production of "Die Zauberflöte" (“The Magic Flute”), directed by Jette Steckel, will be available on ARTE Concert online for free. Maestro Jean-Christophe Spinosi conducts the Philharmonic State Orchestra Hamburg.
