The 49th edition of the two-week festival "Hamburg Ballet Days" will open on June 30, 2024 with a new creation by John Neumeier. In addition, the festival offer insights into the season's repertory, including John Neumeier's recently revived ballet "The Odyssey", his popular classics "Romeo and Juliet" and "Lady of the Camellias", as well as Cathy Marston's adaptation of the novel "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Brontë . Another highlight is the two-day guest performance by a guest company, which will be announced at a later date. With the glamorous "Nijinsky-Gala XLIX" at the end of the 2023/24 season, John Neumeier says goodbye to this function after 51 years as artistic director of the Hamburg Ballet.
