This year, the Hamburg State Opera is once again opening the doors of the Literary-Musical Advent Calendar. It starts on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 12 pm in the entrance foyer of the Hamburg State Opera. Admission is free we're collecting donations for a social cause.
From December 1 to 23, 2024, a small artistic surprise awaits visitors every day in the foyer of the Hamburg State Opera. Members of the opera ensemble, the International Opera Studio, the Hamburg Ballet, the German National Youth Ballet, the School of the Hamburg Ballet, the State Opera Choir, the Alsterspatzen, the Philharmonic State Orchestra and guests from Hamburg will be performing: Stories, poems and songs - sometimes well-known, cheerful and contemplative Christmas classics, sometimes rather unknown, unusual and comical things about the Advent season. Let us surprise you.
