Opening hours during summer break
During summer break, the ticket and subscription service will be closed from July 9 until July 29, 2018. During this time, tickets still can be purchased online and via external ticket sales points. As of July 30, the ticket service is available Mo. – Sat.: 10.00 am to 6.30 pm. We therefore ask for your understanding, if the processing of your subscription order may take place afterwards. For "Titanic" and "Hamburger Pianosommer" you can purchase tickets Mondays to Saturdays, 11.00 am to 6.30 pm in our cash desks directly from the organizer Funke Media or by phone via (040) 450 118 676.
For the first time and for your convenience, you may use our new order tool (in German only) to order your subscription during this period.
How to Order
Starting on March 28, 2018, this page will take you to our order portal. Here you can take your time to choose your subscription, for all orders will be collected until April 19. We will confirm receipt of your order via email, if you have given us your email address. If the number of orders exceeds the number of available seats, a lottery will decide which orders can be filled, independent of the date of the request. For written orders, please use the order form inside the 2018/19 Season Brochure. Unfortunately, we cannot accept orders submitted via email. We ask for your kind understanding that we cannot accept orders prior to March 28, 2018.
Once you have ordered
If your order can be filled, you will receive confirmation by the end of May 2018. Subscriber cards and invoices will be mailed to you in mid-June 2018. Orders submitted after April 19 will be filled in the order they are received, inasmuch as seating capacities are still available.
Subscribers save up to 40% compared to the price of single tickets; young subscribers under the age of 30 even save 50%!
Subscribers have the same seat for all performances – except for subscriptions with a free choice of performances. In the series with automatic renewal we guarantee your favourite seat for the duration of your entire subscription.
Subscribers have a preferential purchase option to secure tickets for additional performances during the 2018/19 season. From Thursday, June 7, 2018 – i.e. before the beginning of general advance sales – you can buy one ticket per subscription seat, either in person at the State Opera's ticket office or by calling +49 (40) 35 68 68.
As of the season 2018/2019, short-term ticket sales for a limited contingent of tickets that became available 28 or 29 days before the performance are no longer available. All seats go on sale at the same time; the seats in question are also bookable as subscriptions.
Subscriptions are available as of Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
Subscribers save when purchasing additional tickets: per subscription seat and performance, you are entitled to buy one additional seat with a 10% rebate compared to the general price. If additional tickets are used by young adults or children, the price is € 10,-.
When purchasing tickets for concerts of the Philharmonic State Orchestra at the Laeiszhalle, subscribers receive a reduction of 10% (except for “Sonderkonzerte”/special concerts).
The ticket entitling you to attend the subscription performance can be transferred to other persons (except for youth subscriptions).
